I figured I could jump on the trend of sharing some of my favorite "pins" this past week.
It's always interesting to see if I have a theme going on with all the visual goodies that I save throughout the week.
I LOVE PINTEREST!
It has made finding inspiration and saving so easy with their virtual cork boards.
Sources:
1. Cake Truck 2. Craft Organization 3. Fabric Letters 4. Doily Envelopes
It's easy to tell I have a romantic, vintage, & shabby chic vibe going on this week! I linked up the original sites under sources so that you may make new discoveries this week!
In case you aren't on Pinterest yet, I would be glad to send you an invite so you don't have to wait to get one from the site. Just email or comment with your preferred email address!
2 reasons why I love Pinterest:
1. It is a great source of inspiration & new websites that I didn't know of before! I have found so many great blogs just in the past few weeks!
2. As a blogger you can see what people pin from your site!
Even little-ole-me has pins from my site - some of them even things of my own creation :)
Check your site out: Put your web address where it says "yourwebsite.com" http://pinterest.com/source/yourwebsite.com
Happy Pinning to you!

{fab finds} ice cream inspiration 2
A perfect ending to a sweet week of inspiration :) Here's a collection of ice cream goodies:
Naomi @ Baker's Royale is one of my favorite foodie blog writers - such beauty in her baking!
These banana split cupcakes are almost too cute to eat!
The hand stamped trend does ice cream!
Aren't these spoons by Beach House Living darling?!?
I LOVE love LOVE the hand stamped trend. I just purchased a hand stamped necklace off of GroopDealz, and need Mr & Mrs stamped forks for my wedding *disclaimer: I am not engaged...yet ;)
Sibyle @ Fun.kyti.me is so fun & creative with her designs and took a spin on the FREE Ice Cream Parlour designs by Eat Drink Chic.
"Ice cream - perfect" for a boy or incorporate red and make it work for 4th of July!
The 2 sugar-infused images above come from Half Baked - The Cake Blog. I love the doily detail on the cones from the Neopolitan Party - simple & sweet. . . Ice cream goes poolside at this bright & fun ice cream party. The pretty decor is by LoveTheDay - love all their stuff, check it out!
Here's the scoop from Pier 1: This hand-painted Cookie Jar looks good enough to eat and is a sugary sweet way to store your favorite treats (the ones that aren't frozen).
***Flair Designery WINNER will be announced tomorrow!!!! Only a little time left to enter! Giveaway ends TODAY 5/22!***

{party envy} sundae baby shower
I really enjoyed this Ice Cream Sundae baby shower by Jordan @ Polka Dot Prints featured via Bump Smitten.
The touches of natural and baby elements in the printed goods & decor definitely made this party summery & sweet!
The dessert table included lots & lots of toppings: cookie dough, marshmallows, nuts, and sprinkles - to name a few! Love the styling of the sprinkles in brown paper bags and presented in an Asian steamer.
I really like that the invitation has different images/patterns in each letter of baby shower - very whimsical & fun. The labels are attached with mini clothespins; a great touch for a baby shower.
Love the pink lemonade in glass bottles along with the wooden spoons. I'm really digging the galvanized touches to this party as well!
This frozen treat of a baby shower is delicious eye candy!
Great job Jordan!

{fab finds} ice cream inspiration

Ice Cream * Ice Cream * Ice Cream
This has been such an inpiration point for me lately. It reminds me of the sweet, summer nights that are about to be here! It might also have to do with my major sweet tooth.
*Disclaimer: I love frozen yogurt & ice cream equally ;)
Here are a few of the ice cream bits & sprinkles that I am wanting on my sundae:
What an Amazing Party for her twins 1st birthday! I love the ruffled streamers & poms backdrop, and what a great idea to use wrapping paper as a tablecloth. Great job Anne @ Anne's Vinyl! She also gives you all the printables that she used at the party too, so sweet :)
This is part of a design project by Joe Stephenson via Design Work Life.
These ideas would be GREAT for a party: Ice Cream "toppers" with different sayings (start a new trend!), printed wooden spoons, pointed ice cream "bowls" or cone wraps.
The women @ 100 Layer Cake did an amazing job with their Ice Cream Parlor Wedding Shoot and give the tutorial on how to make this ice cream cone holder. A must for presenting your waffle cones!
Aren't these ice cream cups darling? I love how they are packaged in an ice cream truck!
This 12 pc kit is available at Shop Sweet LuLu!
This is just a preview of the SWEET inspiration, crafts, and parties to come your way this week!

{creative} happy mother's day
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mother's out there!
You go above & beyond for your loved ones every day and often with out thanks.
Enjoy all the love & appreciation you are receive today because you are worth every bit of it!
I wanted to share the gift for my mom this year:
I ordered my card from Tiny Prints, and then used an epherma die-cut package from K & Company to jazz up the envelope a bit since I wasn't mailing it. Since it is a coffee themed card, it is only natural to include a Starbuck's gift card. We all need our coffee!
Is it obvious I'm a scrapbooker? lol
I bought my mom the white platter, and included some of the cinnamon brown sugar (churro) cupcakes topped with the FREE PRINTABLES by Love Party Printables featured on Catch My Party. I also added turquoise & pearl beads to the tops of the toothpicks for some glam.
How did you show your mom that she is loved?
Enjoy Mother's Day!

{notions and notes} cinco de mayo
I am a little late to get on the Cinco de Mayo train, but I wanted to do a quick MEGA post of all things that put me in a "fiesta" mood!
Printables
These muy caliente printables are by Kim @ TomKat Studio.
The FREE collection includes cupcake toppers/tags and invitations. Love the bright colors!
I just discovered Annika's blog: Cakes Likes a Party. Instant love!
She made a Cinco de Mayo FREE & Awesome ;) printable banner to share. Thanks!
How About Orange's compliment bunting came up in my Facebook feed a month ago, and I have been looking for the perfect occassion to share it!
This would be so fun to put up in one of your co-worker's cubicle to brighten their day.
Definitely one of my go-to sites for printables: Catch My Party!
This collection by Brady @ 9 to 5 Mom includes: a 5×7 invitation, party circles, drink flags, water/beer bottle labels, and a “Cinco de Mayo” banner. Essentially everything you'll need to throw one great fiesta!
Crafts & Tutorials
These mini pinatas by @ One Charming Party have been the Cinco de Mayo crush of blogland!
What a perfect craft to do with your kids (or a festive party favor) to celebrate the 5th of May.
Chelsea @ Lovely Indeed shared this DIY Papel Picado tutorial @ The Sweetest Occassion.
This is perfect if you want your "Mexican Bunting" to say just the right words or have the perfect design.
I'm thinking some chevron details?!?
This would work great for a fiesta & a luau!
The Paper Parasol Topiary tutorial is by Craft Stylish and was found via the Hostess with the Mostess' daily blog.
What's a cake without mini-bunting?
The tutorial by Jenna @ EatDrinkPretty featured on A Subtle Revelry (recent blog crush...) that shows you how to do it "Cinco de Mayo" style.
Food & Parties
Cinco de Maia!
A 1st birthday south-of-the-border style!
Kelly @ WH Hostess created this festive party and it was Kara's Party Ideas winning feature. Congrats & gracias for sharing the party!!!
The Sweet Adventures of SugarBelle never disappoints!
The chips & guacamole are actually cookies & icing! How fun! These would also be perfect as a sweet trick on April Fool's Day. Visit her site for the complete tutorial.
Don't fret! This smore station is just one of the drool-worthy images from the Mexico Inspired Wedding Shoot featured on Style Me Pretty.
The style & inspiration behind the shoot is classic Mexican with vintage & rustic touches.
So beautiful....
I hope I haven't put you into inspiration overload!
I am on my way now to make "Churro" cupcakes, wish me luck!
Enjoy!
